get yourself a jobby job
today i applied for 12 different jobs. followed up on 3 others. i have a connection/relation to one person working at one of the places i applied. it should be interesting to see how many hits i get without knowing anyone.
unforunately im pretty sure i know the answer already. im still appalled at how the hiring process works here. no one gets a job unless you know someone working there. god forbid they hire someone with actual qualifications. such bullshit.

are you applying just around o-town or out of state too?
at this point financially i can't move out of state until i get a job locally.
there's always telemarketing... right?
yeah thats true. it looks like i might have something going at edgewood high school teaching esl to two chinese kids though. it seemingly came out of nowhere. i had given up on those guys and it turns out they 'lost' my resume for a month or two.
heh...
anyway it looks like a good deal if it actually comes through!

yeah thanks. hopefully it will pan out. im still going to keep applying for other jobs though. i already made the mistake of stopping that process too early and it cost me a months worth of rent. youch.
